The world can certainly do with a little more kindness

When Game of Thrones Star, Emilia Clark asked the renowned actress Emma Thompson to read a poem by Naomi Shihab Nye, Thompson did so beautifully with an at-home recording.

She begins by dedicating the reading “to our collective future, to who we are going to be ” when the COVID-19 crisis is done. But this poem also resonates with any kind of loss, speaks to any kind of grief that we may endure. In a year that has been unpredictable and uncertain,  the world can certainly do with a little more kindness.
