How to Say Good-Bye

This article, which offers insights from hospice nurse Maggie Callanan, co-author of the seminal book Final Gifts: Understanding the Special Awareness, Needs, and Communications of the Dying, provides extremely relevant and helpful guidance. Not the least of which is summed up here:

“It’s hard to say good-bye—but you don’t have to ‘say’ anything. Most critical: Just show up. Be there.”
