It’s so hard to let them go. And it’s especially hard when you have to make that decision for them. But everyone’s afraid that they’re going to make that decision too soon. I can tell you, that is not the case. Ninety-nine percent of the time, if you’re thinking about it, it’s not too soon. Because obviously, you don’t want to let your animal go. But if you look at them, and you think, “This is not my dog, or my cat, oh, this animal is not who they used to be,” chances are it is time to start thinking about that. And chances are that if you decide to let them go, it will not be too soon. The worst thing you can do is wait too long and watch them suffer. Everyone wants to find that perfect moment.
